Cyprus is currently undergoing massive investment on both a national and local level designed to make the island an all year round destination. Financing for the projects are a mixture of both government and private equity. Projects that have been agreed and are already underway include:

• €633 million investment to expand the capacity of Larnaca international airport and renovation and expansion of Paphos airport

• The Wonderworld Theme Park development

• Multi million-Euro expansion of the current Marina in Larnaca

• Multi million-Euro development of the Limassol Golf course

• Development of all other local marinas to attract boating enthusiasts

• Development of new multi-purpose medical centres

• Extension and development of both existing and new District General Hospitals

• New and updated local infrastructure surrounding motorway networks and access links to other districts across the island
